Add Internal Medication

1. Select the Medication Name and Select the Internal Route from the respective drop-down lists.

2. (Optional) When selecting an indication, for Chronic, it is necessary that the patient has the relevant medical history prior to adding the chronic medication. This can be done in Section 5.1. 

3. Enter the required information and click Submit. 

   1. Mandatory fields would include:

      1. Start Date of Medication

      2. Medication Name

      3. Route (To determine which dashboard the medication will appear in) 

      4. Dosing Schedule (To determine when the medication will appear on the Internal Administration Dashboard, Section 7.1)

      5. Session Assigned (To determine which sessions of a day the medication will appear on the Internal Administration Dashboard, Section 7.1) 

4. The medication saved will appear on the List of Medications to consume

Note: Under this list of medications to consume, the system will indicate the row of medication in blue font when there are instructions for withholding and red font when the medication has been stopped.
