Creating New Tasks

  1. To create a task, click Schedule > Task Management then select the “New Task” button

Add Task To

Select ‘Client’ to indicate which client the task is assigned to.

User can configure this drop-down via the Code Table.

SASCO can ignore this field, as it is not applicable.

Date, Time, Recurrence

User can use this to plan the timing and frequency of the home visit

Recipient

If user wish for the assigned users to be notified that this task has been assigned to him/ her, they can indicate the user(s)’ names here.

Assigned To

User can indicate if this task is to be assigned to an individual user (with option to add multiples using the + icon).


If there is a fixed group of users that task should be assigned to, user can assign it to a Group, and indicate which user group it is assigned to. 


If user would like to use the system to help with making a decision of who he/she should assign the task to, they can opt to use the Route Optimisation feature (see next step). But will need to leave this ‘Assigned To’ field blank.

Location

The auto-populated address it the client’s home address.


If the location is somewhere else, user can use the ‘Others’ option.

(Checkbox) 

Add Attendance for billing upon completion

If this is a billable visit, and service attendance needs to be marked once the task is complete. User should check this box and indicate under ‘Service to Bill’ which service attendance it should be marked for.

Once the required details are filled up, click “Ok” to create the task.

(Note: Tasks where Action Type is “Administer Medications” users will have to upload a photo of the Medication, before submitting)

  1. (Optional) you can also click “Open Route Optimization” to find the best user for the task based on availability and proximity to the client. 

    1. Select the Users to compare, then indicate their location and select a “Travel Mode

    2. Select “Estimate”, you should be able to see an estimate of the travel times based on the selected travel modes

  1. De-select the undesired users for the task
