When measuring wounds on the dorsum of the feet, consider the Toes as 06:00 and Heel as 12:00.

3 | Camera Positioning | Ensure that the device and wound are parallel to each other. If the device is too tilted, it may cause an inaccurate wound evaluation. Ensure to also avoid shadow overcast. |
4 | Distance from Wound | Position the device approximately 20 cm (further away for larger wounds) away from the wound. User may refer to the value at the bottom left to check the distance. Ensure that the camera is not too close or too far from the wound. If the camera is too close or too far, a red popup will appear at the bottom of the screen reading “Please keep the device within the valid distance range”.
The green button to take the wound image will also disappear. Check that the distance is at a stable value before taking the image. This helps ensure that the image taken is not blurry. |
