Mail Settings

This setting highlights the setup of email notifications on the CARES4WOUNDS web system for the User. This module is specifically to edit the content of email the user will receive. The settings changed here will affect ALL users and can only be adjusted by the administrators with the access rights. 


  1. All the Mail Settings will be listed down as shown in the example below. 


  1. To edit the mail settings for a specific listing, select the edit icon which looks like a pencil. 

  1. User will be redirected to the Edit Mail Settings page. User can click Edit to edit the email message if necessary. Click Submit once done to save the changes. 


This would mean that in the event an email is needed to be sent to the user, it will follow this template for the respective description. 


This is a table which shows the list of events which will trigger an email to be sent out and who the intended recipients for these emails are.

Users that this function relates to (e.g. user who is requesting for 2FA)

To provide the OTP to be used by user to complete the 2FA login.

Add User

Users that this function relates to (e.g. new user who was created )

To provide newly added user with an auto-generated temporary password to login for the first time.

Forget Password

User that this function relates to (e.g. user who clicked 'Forgot Password' )

To provide user with a temporary password to login to their account before resetting their password.

Notification Chat

Users who are tagged in chat

To inform the tagged user that they have been mentioned in the chat conversation for a particular client.

Lock User due to Inactivity 

User that this function relates to (e.g. user whose account got locked due to inactivity )

To inform the user that their account has automatically been locked due to being inactive for an extended period of time.
